very interesting project. When are you coming to Rhode Island?
    MM

    • Hi – I’ve already been to Rhode Island! That was in late October, and Hurricane Sandy was quickly approaching, so I left Rhode Island after 5 days, and then I came back this spring to finish the last 2 days before visiting Massachusetts. Rhode Island was State #8 on my journey – but then I didn’t finish it til shortly before Easter, so it was a divided visit. But I certainly enjoyed it!

So glad family connections brought you to Menomonie, Wisconsin so we could learn of your wonderful Expedition! We greatly appreciate your donation of pillows and kitchen supplies to the Stepping Stones Shelter. What a way to personally touch so many lives…when you lay your head down after a long day you can think of others sleeping on the soft pillows you provided. 🙂

    Hello Nancy,
Thank you for your donation to our youth outreach project-farm, the GRUB Program, of the South Plains Food Bank in Lubbock, TX. You are my hero! Your journey is inspiring! I was blessed to meet both you and Tula. I wish you safe traveling graces for the rest of your journey(s).

  14. Nancy: I am with the Millard American Legion in Omaha. I just received your box of donated food items for our troops. You donated them through a local Walgreens “Adopt a Soldier” campaign. Although you donated them in late June, I just received them and the items are now on their way to Afghanistan to be enjoyed by our troops. Our Legion Auxiliary ships these items once a month and we have lost count of how much we have shipped over the past 3 years but I can tell you it is well over 6 tons of goodies. Just wanted to let you know that we DID receive the items and that we are very thankful for your “Give Back to America” Journey. Thank you and safe travels!
